I dont get it. So now it is obvious that they have already got the new release! They even started giving laptops away with it being already installed. So this means it has already been tested too, otherwise they wouldnt install it to the newly ordered devices right?! So why the (i dont curse  ) they arent publishing it on their support page yet!

Answer: to make M15x owners like you sweat. :p

Probably for the same reason they suck at updating the drivers on their webpage. They're still offering 186.40 which didn't even allow SLi in my machine when I tried them.

They're likely doing as many companies do when reaching the late QA stage of software. They're releasing it to a controlled number of users to both test in a real-world environment and to cut down on the number of tech support calls during that validation period. If a problem is found, then they can fix the sub-10% of their users who would have the problem rather than a much larger percentage if they did a full release.

I think they're doing the right thing by making sure it works before people like us install it and possibly experience even more problems than we did before.

For bios upgrades, i see your point and i think you r right. But that doesnt go with other driver updates... :( I still think they are just too lazy :) Because command center is a mess too and had to be fixed looong time ago...
