    I've searched the forums for some benchmarks of the new M15x and can't for the life of me find any..?

    There must be some, somewhere?

    Has anyone got some ballpark figures for the new M15x benchmarked?

    I think the people who like to benchmark are buying the M17x. I know there were some early on in the owners lounge.

    820QM and GTX260 -

    I scored just over 12k 3dmark 06 marks with some light tweaking and stock drivers.

    SiSoft showed the CPU as being quite impressive, can't beat 1200MIPS+/watt versus my desktop Quad core Extreme QX6850's 260MIPs/watt. The M15X CPU also boasted .7GFLOPS versus my desktop's .52.

    I am not really sure what benchmarks really make sense anymore. There is a SuperPi comparison of the mobile i7's floating around somewhere. Real world performance matters most I guess.

    1920x1200 (external monitor) I can play L4D2 with Vsynch/Triple buffer, all effects to high, 4xAF and no AA sustaining a locked 30fps throughout every map.

    1920x1080 I was able to play an 8 man map of SupCom with all details set to high and no AA keeping >30fps throughout.

    A good comparison point is the 9800GT desktop card. I hope that helps some, and feel free to suggest some ways to benchmark it.
