At the November launch event in 2007 a black gloss and silver gloss finish was shown on the m15x and m17x Alienware notebooks

The m15x then launched in the silver

    and recently

The m17x Launched in what is said to be a Black Matte finish (in response to fingerprint complaints by AW staff and Reviewers of the m15x)

The m1Xx line of notebooks is a boutique product and i think its about time ALienware give us new paintjobs!.. in The last ALienNetwork they said next time they would release info on the M17x and M15x in both silver and black ..
June 25th is the date for that video release but am i not the only one who would like to see the M15x in possibly Green or Blue? as featured in there desktop line.

Atm New color info is the only thing stopping me pre ordering a sager 15inch.. and giving it a nice high quality paintjob my self (i mod pcs and have done a number of paintjobs and design jobs that rival the AW desktop cases ive seen for about the same 600 price tag in materials) any one els agree that different colored paintjobs are one of the main reasons for justifying the Boutique Brand price of ALienware products and they should hurry up adding new options to the M1Xx line?

Is matte paint the way to go? ...
Is black and silver enough and im just a fruity color nut? ...
Any one held a M17x in matte paint yet what does it compare 2 m9750? ...

so many questions so little time <_> the next gen of laptops and centrino2 creeps closer and closer. Will my AW paint job dream come true? :(
