I've confirmed that the GTX 260M is compatible with 3D vision and have installed the very latest Nvidia drivers but nowhere in my start menu or nvidia control panel does it say anything to do with 3D vision.. Why?

Do you have the 3D vision glasses?

    BTW: The screen on the M15x isn't a " 3D Vision-Ready Display"

I have some 3d glasses i got from the cinema, I know there not the expensive ones but i read something on the site about the red/blue stereoscopic glasses work too, still no harm trying.
i'll try the drivers though i think there for the expensive glasses only.

Erm I'm gona stop trying as far as drivers are concerned, I didn't download the verde driver because my 3dsmax stopped working because of my last driver update so i had to go back 3 system restores and will just be leaving it alone now.. I'm truly dead if I can't work over the next couple of weeks lol

The screen doesnt have a 120hz refresh rate so you wont get 3d vision. But yes the graphics card is compatible with nvidia 3d kit.

cinema 3d glasses will not work, they are of the passive 3d variety, whereas the nvidia ones are active shutter 3d.

So it says notebooks now support 3D Vision External Display. Lets say i bought Alienware OptX 2310 3D monitor and Nvidia 3D Vision kit, how am i going to connect this monitor to my M15x??? Monitor supports DVI and HDMI, i have neither of them and my beloved M15x notebook is supposed to be one of the best available! Will using displayport to HDMI converter solve the trick or would i have some quality issues??

Here we are, people who spent thousands on a gaming machine just to have some fun... Now i wonder if anyone is gonna connect his/her M15x to an external monitor and/or projector for a better 3D gaming experience and explain other folks how to manage it succesfully?

Btw: 3D blue ray is not supported by GTX260m, as nvidia web page says...
