So basically im using the displayport adapter to go to HDMI and connecting this to a projector. But when Im doing this the projector is not shooting any picture. I made sure to press the proper keys to display video (fn +f6). Any idea why this isnt working?

Also would it be possible to send signals to the projector from the HDMI port and also another projecter from the VGA port...

Any and ALL help wud be appreciated! :)

I have the same problem, I think it is really hit and miss. Usually I end up rebooting a couple times until the dumb thing kicks in. I have the same problem as you, if anyone could share how they get it to output to the display port reliably that would be awesome!

    What OS are you using?

Not sure about vista, but under Win7 just press Win + P, and you can select which display to select.

I don't have a M15x, but on my M17x if you plug an extra monitor into the vga port it should appear on the "screen resolution" screen. Just type screen resolution in the search on the start menu or right click the desktop.

Still with win + p it doesnt work. Does anyone know of a sure fire-way 2 get this working instead of just doing it by chance everytime I boot it. Im going to be doing a presentation infront of 1000+ people from a Panasonic ae900u projector. I wont have a test run on the projector till the day before.. Aiee any help would be appreciated!

it works with the VGA, but it is really hit and miss with the display port. I am on windows 7enterprise, and I have not even found a fool proof way to get it to extend the desktop everytime. The M11x works well, but the M15x is iffy

Thats pretty retarded for it just to be random to work with the display/HDMI output.. so basically theres no hotkey shortcuts to turn ON/OFF HDMI Ports?

Im using win7. The projector works fine with the VGA and Im pretty sure it should work with the VGA and HDMI together at once. But I just cant get the HDMI to run properly... Know any shortcuts/hotkeys to turn on HDMI automatically?
