    Is it normal for the palm rest of the M15x to get slightly warm while gaming? i read some reviews which said its normally cool to touch

    Do you monitor your max temps while gaming? If not - you should. Use HWMonitor/Everest/HWinfo32 and see if your temps are too high.
    Might wanna try re-applying the thermal paste on the CPU/NB, cleaning the vents, etc.

    Mines normally slightly warm.

    It never gets hot to the touch. Now, the bottom however..... lol.
