Just got my M15x and have to say it's built 1000x better then my old m15x.

Quick question, does anyone know of a fix, ghetto or proper, to get rid of this flex around the arrow keys?

Just call in and ask Dell to fix it if it's really bad.

I had some flex around there but it kinda just magically fixed itself after using some Compressed air to clean under my keyboard. *shrugs* I got 4 year so if it comes up i can always just ask them to fix it. If you don't have a long term warranty i highly suggest calling and asking them to see if they can fix / repair it.

Didn't notice it yesterday and after using it a bit today it seems to have gone away... go figure :)

Yeah, That's kinda how mine was. It was really bad i was freaking out cause i would press the arrow keys and it would clack the entire bottom right of the keyboard. It just kinda went away after a good blast of air. Either that or it went away before that and i didn't notice.

I noticed that when it heats up a bit, the flex kind of disappeared. A cold computer, and that clack was there. I eventually just took the keyboard apart and bend it straight.

there are a couple of fixes for this, one is cutting a small thin plastic (thickness of credit card) and shim it under the keyboar where it flexes. the other one is taking off the keyboard and flex it alittle bit in the opposite direction.

Thanks Inapp., mine flexes in the bottom right corner but t hasnt bothered me too much yet. If it does I'll look into it.

One thing on my M15x that does move on my M15x is the plastic piece thats a part of the touchpad below the keyboard, but only on the right side as well. When I'm gaming it starts to creek until pushed down (it moves a bit but nothing more than a couple mm's). I figure its a loose screw or something that, do you guys think I should open it up and see? I can move anything above the left light, only on the right side
