    You should look for
    Furmark-----> http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/
    Furmark is for GPU stability
    OCCT ------> http://downloads.guru3d.com/OCCT-(OverClock-Checking-Tool)-3.0.0-download-1880.html
    OCCT is the CPU stability
    3d Mark 06 -----> http://downloads.guru3d.com/3DMark06-v110-Basic-Edition-download-1297.html
    3d mark is the overall system check it performance.... if ur system not stable it cant be successfully run....
    3D Vantage -----> http://downloads.guru3d.com/3DMark-Vantage-(Build-1.0.0)-download-1906.html
    Same as 3d mark 06, but it is more advance tools

    i did some tests before with Passmark and 3dvantage. For some reason I got only 1663 with PassMark. For vantage I got around 6K I think. I'll do another vantage test tonight when I get the chance.

    I've also had some probelms trying to play heroes of newerth. I get this random skipping which is really frustrating me. My friend who owns a older M17X with (in my eyes) equivalent specs, can run it on full settings no probelm. I don't understand why I shouldn't be atleast able to run it smoothly. If anyone can help me out with this probelm it would be great.

    I think it was the wireless net that was causing the lag, Once I switched to using my ethernet cable. There was no more frame skips when playing Heroes of Newerth. Do you think its my lines fault, router or my wireless card on my laptop that could be faulty?

    surfing net is smooth, however when playing online games i notice theres alot of skipping. Is that normal for a home wireless connection to be like that? Or could it be a problem with the wireless card?

    i dont think is wireless problem, it should be ur line problem, maybe lagg, or some connection problem..... probably u can connect, means that ur wireless is working probably(i think so)...... Or u try to reset ur wireless modem for a minutes, or maybe trafic busy so laggg....
