My M15x............is in for repair, I hope I have the same luck.

Something shorted out in the notebook and it would not even reboot.
I am glad to here some good reports since my M15x is in for repair.

I will be posting the turn out.

yeah, a positive story really is something out the blue it seems. my m15x is also in for repair(been there nearly 2 weeks now) the panell covering the screen cracked by the light pipe, i rang a few days ago and was told that due to delay itll be the end of feb before it comes back. i couldnt even be bothered to question it, ive heard enough crap from the woman at AW europe who sounds like she doesnt have a clue what shes talking about. heres hoping its quicker.

im happy for you jcharnley mind

LOL you are happy with 3 weeks repairing? My alienware also has problem since the first day I bought it and I already sent it back to them since last month but every time I called them, they said it's not finished yet. what kind of support is that. This is the ID of the repair: 1110280.

It's not surprising because they are very passive in answering your questions and they always have problem with their laptops.

My laptop has been in repair since January 6th, called 2 weeks later for an update and the guy told me it wasn't even picked up at the service depot. He said it'll be ready when it's ready. Almost 5 weeks now and haven't heard a thing. I've kinda given up on alienware at this point, pretty crappy service all around and I have a feeling i'm going to have 4000$ paper weigh on my hands.
