    Zalman NC2000 is for HUGE notebooks like the m17x. You would probably be better off with the Zalman NC1000

    Do you think the nc1000 is too small for the m15x?

    from what i can remember, the nc2000 from zalman and the cryo lx from nzxt work just fine for the m17 as well.

    I use the Zalman NC2000 with my m15x. It seems to do the job pretty well and like previously mentioned, it fits perfectly. Whichever cooler you end up buying, be sure that it "pushes" the air towards the laptop, rather than pull the air away from it.

    Hi lads,

    Since last posting in this thread Ive had some right grief trying to order the CRYO lx. Finally today the only company that claimed to be able to get the cooler shipped to me in the UK(Eclipse computers) finally conceded that they couldnt get it for me anytime soon after over a week waiting!

    I have asked for a refund and decided to order the ANTEC 200 from Amazon;

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Antec-NOTEB...8?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1243006400&sr=8-9

    what do you guys think of it??

    I could have ordered that Zalman but it didnt look right for me....dunno why?

    Thanks guys.

    i actually tested the Antec 200 with my m15x a few weeks ago, check the link in my sig.

    on a side note, i'll be getting a chance to try out the NZXT Cryo LX tomorrow, so i'll be conducting some temp measurement sessions then.

    What kind of cable does this use? I have a Notepal that seems to use a spcial usb connector I can't find anywhere, it snapped, now Notepal wants my young for a replacement cable. Man screw those guys. Does that work for them? Because at this point if Notepal found a cure for cancer I'd just rather die. Well no, but I think that's some real bs what they're doing.

    depends on the cooler. the zalman nc2000 uses a male-to-male USB cable (easily replaceable). the Antec 200 uses a USB connector as well, but the cable is hard-wired to the cooler's "control panel".
