    M15x with black skullcap and M17x with silver ripley

    By the way, these pictures are from late 2007. I'm just postiing this link again because it seems that a lot of newcommers here never saw the pictures and laptops that AW originally showed off.

    At the press conference or whatever you want to call it they had working a working M15x with black skullcap and a working M17x with a silver ripley. All of these 360 views of the black one are alright, but originally AW had plans to release a black skullcap M15x. It could be that since the Silver M15x didn't do so well they didn't want to invest the extra money to paint some of the laptops black when sales weren't too good.

    Once again, these pictures are old, but I'm just clearing up that AW had plans for these laptops as they made fully working ones. I just didn't feel like going into each thread and writing basically this in every one.

    yer the gloss did look nice.. but matte finishes make things feel much higher quality.
    Also nicer on the hands around the keypad and touchpad etc..

    we have yet to see any non AW released highres shots of the black matte finish so i guess we have to wait n c ... hurry up m17x reviews!

    Yep,thos pics impressed a lot of people when they were released.
    Let's see how the m17x will look next to other 17 inchers...
