    Hey Guys,

The PDF Tech Manual says that the touch-sensitive quick launch buttons are customizable. I've been digging and couldn't find anything in here that says how... so... HOW?!

I want my internet button to open Firefox, and my mail button to open Office Outlook instead of Windows Mail. I've checked everywhere I could think of and can't find anything to customize them. Anyone with any information on this?

    By the way,

I love this laptop (laptop my rear, this thing would scorch my crotch if it didn't crush it first... "desktop replacement"). I've not had any problems with it except for the usual gripes about Control Center, and I'm not even using it. Everything seems to be working right, the paint is holding up (I use a mouse instead of the touch pad, and I have sever sweaty palms... but everything seems to be holding up). Alienware forgot to include my coax adapter in the original package... so they sent me it with a free $50 bluetooth media remote. AlienSense impresses everyone, even if it's SLOW as BALLS when it's being loaded. Everything works. Everything is good. I just want my dang buttons customized.

If the mod put the thread to sticky, then it will greatly reduce number of new threads.

Fusion, your thread is awesome, but it won't stop these threads from popping up. I made a VERY in-depth E1705/M1710 FAQ that actually did get stickied over at Notebookforums.com. It was even labeled ***READ THIS FIRST*** in big, bold lettering. Every day there were half a dozen new threads started about the same redundant topics. In the future though, link to your guide instead of asking if he read it. If he would have read it, he obviously wouldn't have made this thread.
