    M17 -- sound issues all the time

    Hey Guys

    I am having constant sound issues with my M17

    ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS i get sound out of the sub only since i re-installed vista, i have tried the disk drivers and the 2.2 drivers and it is constanly screwing up

    i am on the verge on sticking a knife in my speakers!

    argh does anyone else suffer with this ....

    it does sometimes i can remove the drivers completely and reboot to safe mode then reboot install drivers and it will be ok then i reboot another time then it all falls over again

    Do you use headphones at all? Did you check the settings in Control Panel/Sound to make sure your speakers were set to default? Its wierd that it would drop out after a couple reboots like that.

    i do use usb headphones although i have checked the settings and selected the speakers to default however again i only get sound through the sub

    Well, then it can only be that windows is getting confused between the headphones and the external speakers somehow. When I switch between headphones and speakers, I sometimes have to restart the program I'm using to get it to recognize the speakers. If they work a couple times, then it doesn't sound like an internal connection problem with the speakers but some sort of software thing.

    sometimes i got that problem too. dont know what is going wrong.?

    I had that problem, I completely removed ALL drivers with uninstall, then driver sweeper...and then reinstalled and everything's been fine since.
