Lol... I have never really had a game install fast on any computer I have owned. It took me about 2 or 3 hours to put WoW on my computers. Game installation is just one of those things in which... turn on the tv or watch a movie... it takes awhile.

WoW is pretty heavy. First off, the original box plus both expansions have atleast 4+ discs to install (never bought the retail version of wrath, just downloaded the new patch and upgrade my account online). Lastly there's a lot of patches.. in which ports (from your router) need to be opened in order to download the updates at a "moderate" rate, if these ports aren't open you're basically sailing with no boat... however there are plenty of mirror sites.

2-3 hours to install the most up to date WoW (wrath) is actually really good, cheers.

    Guild war is the fastest.

I love the programming design of that game, it's the best ever. I am a programmer and a gamer.

Totally agree, most balanced PvP ever, no turbo-leveling, and you pay only to buy game, no month-fees.

Remember if it is WoW its not the disc but the patches that happen after the load that takes forever to download. Blizzard has yet to address that.

lol, WoW is heavy my friend.. As of right now with the most up to date patch and Wrath expansion installed it's sitting at 11.6gb, plus an additional 8.11gb if you want to test the public test realms, that's also deleting all the update/downloader files from the patches which some go up to 2gb and others are around 300mb.

I'm saying a fresh install of WoW (wrath expansion installed), PTR, up to date patch you're sitting around 20gb of HDD space.
