There is no crossfire menu in the ATI control center.

Run a 3dm6, the score will tell you if you have X2 installed or not.
    Or get GPU-z.

At the bottom of the GPU-Z screen it will say:

ATI Crossfire - Enabled (2 GPUs)

Just run 3DMark'06, and if you score anything around 11K or above, both cards are working.

    About your driver:
Make sure you have Driver Sweeper, or equivalent.
    Uninstall the old driver.
    Boot into safe mode.
Use your driver cleaning utility for ATI display drivers.
    Reboot normally.
    Install the new driver.
    Done.

Depends on different version of driver.
Sometimes there is a drop down menu to select which GPU to monitor.

Just run 3dm06 to check score.

and my 3Dmark 2006 score is 10800......so i think my crossfire is working..

Just get the newest ATI desktop driver, use a program called 'Mobility Modder', and you'll have a driver that is light years newer than the AW driver you have there.

Google the instructions for using the Mobility Modder.

thanks, I installed the desktop driver, now I can see `ATI Moblity Radeon HD 3870x2` in the catalyst control center menu.

but the score 3dmark 2006 is 10700, less than the alienware drivers....
    (GPU-Z display ATI Crossfire - Enabled (2 GPUs) )

People said that the newest beta drivers are pretty good give them a shot.
What cpu do you have ? If got the cheapest one that might explain the low 3dmark score.

My cpu is P8400 -_- .... and i am think about to change to x9100

yea..3dmark is a diff story. It's very CPU reliant. Gaming relies a lot on GPU, but of course a faster CPU helps. And, nice thing is that you can always upgrade the CPU. With these cards in crossfire, the CPU is the bottleneck of course, especially the P8400 cause of the 3MB cache as opposed to 6MB or greater. But, down the road you can spend a few hundred bucks on Ebay and get a higher end CPU. :) All of my system info is in my signature. Feel free to click the Orb links to compare to your own.

You should always enter safe mode and do a proper driver sweep. That ensures that the old garbage has been removed, and you're getting a fresh install of the new driver and it's features.
