I just bought an M17 notebook and it came with windows vista on it. I hate using windows vista so I want to downgrade it to windows xp. Is there anywhere to download the facial recognition software and the fingerprint software reader for alienware?

george stumba-something, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. some like Vista, some prefer XP, still others swear on Linux or OSX. each to his own, and there's no need for judging others based on their opinions.

on a side note, Vista is more complicated than XP, and XP is certainly faster than Vista.

Grow up?? You let me know when windows comes out with an operating system that doesn't use half of your cpu for a stupid side bar. Wow, lmao.

Does anyone know where you can get the software?

the fingerprint reader, you'd have to find out who makes it. as for the facial recognition, it's labeled "facap FastAccess Video Capture" in my hardware manager thing. maybe you can find the produer's website with that (i couldn't though).
