Guys, I have the Alienware m17 R3 for about 6 weeks now and today, I noticed that my Thunderbolt port is no longer working like it used to. Sometimes it connects to my dock. Sometimes, it does not.

When I notice that I am no longer connected, I turn off the dock and then turn it back on; it helps to reconnect at that time. But the dock does not stay connected the whole time my laptop is turned on. The last time everything was working fine was Sunday (Aug 30th).

    - I was using "Cable Matters" dock when things went down. So I thought the dock died and bought an Anker Dock, still the same problem.

    - I checked for updates for Windows 10, all updated.

    - I used Dell Support and updated the BIOS, the update worked but still trouble Thunderbolt-wise.

    - I used Intel Assistant to see if there are updates, it's all good.

    - I uninstalled the Drivers and then the Thunderbolt app, and reinstalled both. Still no changes.

    - My dock which was connected to the Thunderbolt port works when I connect it to the USB port. Both of the docks work actually. D'oh!

    - I used Dell Support Website, they just told me to use the Dell Support to update the drivers and they were done with me. Even though I told them I already did the drivers check.

I am not sure what is happening. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance!
