Hey everyone I was wondering if there is a new driver out that fixed the raid issue with the m17. I am looking into getting another hard drive and wanted to know if I should bother with raid or just use it as my secondary hard drive for music/movies...
    Thanks in advance guys.

Yeah, I had raid 0 on my rig for a few months since new and never had a problem or heard of any raid issue.

If it were me I'd just use the second HDD for mass storage.

If you want really fast speed and you've got some extra cash I'd say go with dual SSD's in raid 0. If you go with a raid 0 set-up, don't forget to "enable" raid in your bios.

extra cash? if you have that much extra cash please share lol

there are no raid issues ...the orginal raid issue is the current quad core stutter ...we orginally though the HD's were not playing nicely in raid due to drivers/ controller but it turns out its a north bridge problem

Sorry I forgot to say what problems I herd of.
I herd in raid 0 that people were getting stuttering when disk was being accessed.
