I just received my M17 and I am testing out all my ports. For some reason Realtek cannot sense when i have plugged in the toslink cable. No sound is output from my A/V receiver when i plugged in the toslink.

Has anyone else had this problem or is there anyone who could help me with this problem?

    -Thanks in advance

Have you right clicked the speaker down in the corner to select your Playback devices? Maybe one is disabled..or not configured properly.

Yes I have checked all that. Still the same problem.

While I was installing the new drivers Vista tried to install the old drivers, I tried to cancel but I didn't know how. Could that be why it didn't work?

well, check device manager.. remove the HD Audio from sound devices and system devices.. then try re-installing?
