    I am running M17 with Windows 7 x64.

    Everything is fine, except that you cannot use command center.

    oh, you need to download the latest ATI Catalyst for win 7 x64.

    the original AW one may not work.

    I just installed Win 7 64-bit on my ocz whitebook (same hardware) and have loved it so far. No issues at all. Just use the ATI Win 7 9.6 drivers and get the new version of the vitakey software as the vista one wont work with ie8 in win 7.

    Julian, did you add the Newest version of the Vitakey software that scook9 is talking about to your "How to Windows 7 on M17" Thread yet?

    I forgot where the link is, I had Egistek send it to me when IE8 first came out for windows, because AC5032 doesn't work in IE8, only IE7. I think I saved the installer though, I'll send to someone to host tonight so that it can be used by all.

    The standard version will work with everything except IE8 to the best of my knowledge. Also, you cannot export from older version to import to newer version. It is a PITA but they use different formats. I use IE so it is worth checking if the original version works ok with FireFox in Win 7. I haven't tested that.

    At first I wanted to add the new version but I tryed it (still have it) and the login doesn't work. I get "wrong PW" all the time, so I only use it for loggin into Windwos 7 :)

    Does it work on your M17? Than I'll add it :)

    Greetings
    Julian

    PS: may be it would be better to go this discussion on in the W7 thread for the m17 *suggestion* :D

    I have been using it happily on my whitebook (same HW as M17 but without all the AW stuff)

    Works for logging into windows and with browser (IE8).

    Hi kcuk,

    Thought you should know this;

    Windows 7 is available to us guys in the UK pre-order tomorrow(July 15th) for about a third of normal price...for Home Premium its £49.99 instead of £149.99 and it only lasts a few weeks. After this we have to wait till October to buy it and it then goes to full price.
    If you love testing it as much as me and my pals have Im sure you will be tempted.
    These M17s love it also and run much better all-round than with Vista....Windows 7 is what Vista should have been.
