    M17 fingerprint reader not working

    Since installing one of the windows updates the fingerprint option doesnt come up in place of typing passwords. It worked prior to the updates but hasnt worked since. It still recognises my fingerprint should i wish to log in using it instead of facial recognition but wont give me the option to use finger prints in place of passwords.
    Has anyone had this issue or does anyone know how to get it working again.

    problem solved, didnt realise that IE8 broke the password bank so found an update for it
