Did you try patching up the game ? Think they relesed 2-3 patches for Crysis.

A few users had the same problem but running the game with Dx9 instead of 10 fixed that issue.

Just saw this one :D if you never updated your drivers since your laptop arrived, http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=329941 . Make sure you do a clean uninstall before installing them.

CCC settings are set to "use application settings" right ? (dont force AA)

What Crysis version are you playing on ?

crysis is flashy can be due to some problem with the game and ati cf driver.
    google will find the patch.

so is WoW, disable some setting in the game can solve the problem according to google.

he may need the 8.12 drivers. as well as set up vsync in the game graphics settings. give those a shot and see what happens.

Oh.. AJ, curious.. You say everything flashes? Do you mean when you go fullscreen the game starts hiccuping and the screen is bouncy for about 5 seconds until Crossfire syncs? Or, you're playing it fullscreen and during gameplay it has issues? Cause if it's just flashing and jumpy while it's scaling to fullscreen then that's normal.

I never had any problems playing crysis on my rig, even with the 8.10 drivers. It only ran avg of 30fps but i was still able to play.

There are two threads talking about flashing textures now. I've never seen it in Crysis. I did have flashing shadows in WoW when the shadows slider was maxed, but that went away when I upgraded drivers.

Never had the issue with Crysis, on the other hand i never played Crysis before patching it to the lastest version.

WoW's issue with the shadows is common, not really an ATI problem since even people with nvidia cards have that issue (on sli). So id guess its an SLI and Crossfire problem since as we know WoW doesnt support multi gpu's.

Great that you fixed it, not so great that you're using those nasty old drivers.
