Alright so I have an Aleinware m17 laptop with a 2.0 mega pixel camera built in. There's a little blue light next to that camera that turns on when its activated right? Well recently its been going on and off for no reason. Really why I care so much is while surfing the internet my girlfriend and I did some things after witch I noticed the camera was on. Should I be worried about someone seeing us? I was never prompted to turn on webcam or anything. Sorry if this is the wrong forum. Thanks for your time.

Could be a virus/malicious software - there were a few some time back (years) which could be accessed remotely and used to access the webcam along with other functions.

Virus scan and if negative reinstall the webcam software. check any other app settings which have direct access to the cam (messenger apps, etc.).
