    Hey guys!

I just hooked my HP L2045W 20" LCD monitor to my M17's VGA port to do some 3D stuff - and damn it's blurry. I even installed the latest monitor drivers too, but for some reason I can't get rid of the shadows.

Switching between resolutions and refresh rates doesn't have any effect either, it just stays blurry when the M17 screen is crisp clear.

Anyone know what to do? The HP's monitor wasn't this blurry when I still had a desktop with GeForce card, could ATI be the problem? I'm currently running on 9.3 drivers since they've been working like a charm so far.

    Any help appreciated, thanks!

I tried that already Moo, no effect. Guess I'll try those new 9.6 drivers if that solves the problem.

Sry but normaly the only reason is the res^^ And the neative res should give you the best solution :(

I don't belive that it's driver related ... and the cable? I think you used the LCD and it's cable before?

    Greetings

Ya that normally is the case, but I get the same problem when I try and use my 1680x1050 Samsung Syncmaster as a secondary monitor to my M17. It's fuzzy, and at the right resolution. Any one else had this problem/found a solution?

Instead of VGA try DVI or HDMI instead.
