I play the game Lord of the Rings Online and am a Multiboxer. For those who don't know what that is I play multiple accounts at the same time on 1 PC. Or in this case my M17. I currently run 4GB but am pushing the edge as it take all of it to run 3 accounts at once. 8GB would solve this problem but I didn't know if the M17 could handle that much or even if it was able. Any information would be helpful. If there is could you all suggest where to buy from.

    Thanks, XP

Well, there's your answer (s), I'd just like to add, you should buy your ram through newegg, but I'm sure you weren't going to buy through AW, so what am I saying! XD

Let us know how it works if you can (or pm me =P), I'm also on the edge with the 4gb vs 8gb.

AW recommends at least the B13 BIOS for 8GB Ram. It may work on previous revs, but they did some BIOS fixes in B13 specifically for 8GB of ram.

Yup, what Marvie said. If you aren't running the B13 yet, you might want to snag it and flash it first. Would/Could save you some time and trouble when you get the 8gb

Yes 8GB fits. But it seems obscenely expensive just to multibox. Then again if you already pay for multiple accounts and the multiboxing program... As said before though you'll need the B13 bios.
