    Does anyone have any information to doing this upgrade. I am trying to obtain information about this and how to do it but no luck yet. Alienware-Rose does not accept PM's anymore , i tried to pm her about this matter. Does anyone have instructions on how to install and OBTAIN the drive as well?

    i did mine a few weeks ago, purchased a UJ-235A drive on ebay followed the instructions in the service manual to remove and replace the drive. Make sure when you put your system back together that you fully insert the display cable back in the motherboard, it took me 2 hours to figure that one out. I also learned that the AlienFX lighting information is sent through the display cable :) . Havent had any issues with the UJ-235A yet, but you cant use dell provided firmware with it.
