    Hi Everyone,

Have a friend with M17X-R1 and the keyboard is not lighting up.

Originally it was working fine. I then reinstalled Vista to a enterprise image for his work and it was still fine.

Then I gave it to him and he installed the Command Center of the CD. Apparantly during install he accidentally selects that he had a F17Skullcap but he has a Ripley with light up keyboard, mouse, and no side lights (referred to as NLB?).

Now his system thinks that he doesnt have the keyboard and that it is a skullcap.

Anyways system has been reinstalled again in attempt to fix the issue but with no luck.

I know its user stupidity but any chance of fixing this?

    Thank you,
    dpc
