Hey, I'm planning to get the M17X and i have it all configured execpt now I'm not sure on whether or not to get the 1200p screen upgrade or not. Is it really a big improvement? if I do get it, will it look good witht eh single 160m? or should i get dual 260s? im thinks either dual 260s with 900p or single with 1200p. please advise.

    Q9000 processor
    4GB ram
    and 320GB hard drive.

P.S. I hope to hook my TV up to my M17x to use as a secondary or primary screen sometimes. its a 37 inch hdtv, 720p. will this work? or affect the screen i should get for the laptop?

Get the Wuxga(1200p) screen if you can , you can always add other stuff later on IE another Video card.

Thats true, but is it really a big difference? getting the screen will also slow down build time, the sooner i get the better. :)

I have the 1200p screen and i think its great... very minimal bleeding... great colors... There are brighter screens out there, but this is the 1st laptop ive boughten (I used to like desktops) and im impressed with the build of the M17x

    -very SOLIDly built
-great screen (Must of gotten a good one)
-lighting on keyboard is very bright
    -everything seems to be great

-execpt the care at dell, since they said my laptop cant have a ssd drive (when i wanted to upgrade), but its configered to use sata and uses it... so i dont know what the heck she was thinking... but... im going to upgrade to Raid 0 nonetheless...
