Has anyone ordered the M17x from here? It says it takes 4-6 weeks to ship and I really don't feel like waiting that long. I chatted with a Dell rep and asked if I could get the same deal through them and he basically told me to go screw.

Roast beef is rather expensive though, one would think that you would be more careful with roast beef and try not to drop it.

Do you work at a big company or are a student? I was thinking about doing the same thing. However i found out with my EPP discount it was really really close to the Sams Club price same specs. I belive it was only 50 dollars more or so. It also depends on the rep, having a good rep makes all the difference. It took me 3-4 phone calls to find a rep i acually liked. IMO i would just order it from Dell themselfs. Unless you don't get any discount i would do the same clubs one. However you can get a discount from dell easy. (When i ordered they never asked me for proof of my employeer. Also if you open a dell prefered account you can same a extra 3% on TOP of whatever other discounts. Hope this helps a little good luck!

You just tell them your a student and they belive you. They don't ask for proof which is wired imo. When i bought mine they didn't ask for any proof about anything. Just tell them you are.

Last time i checked sams club had two 260's

    It has dual cards. :)

I'm wondering how the Microcenter is a better deal myself. The BluRay drive seems to be the only difference and that doesn't justify the cost difference, IMO.

I would double check with Sam's. That deal used to have a single 260m, not two.

Also, you'll be waiting up to a month and a half if you order that deal.

The wait time at Sams Club is a concern, but it has always had SLI. Costco has the model without SLI, which was never a good price for the features.
