You may need to raise your voice a lil bit when talking to 'em. -
I already called dibs. -

Call tech support to have the issue documented. Then call customer support to get a replacement system. As long as all the issues been documented i'm sureyou can get a replacement.
-
all it is is your driver crashing pretty easy to fix .....
The motherboard isn't bad and the 2000$ deal -

Is the unsettling feeling like getting gas SillyHoney? If so you should try some antacids for that feeling.

He's had the laptop for nearly 4 months. He won't be able to get a refund no matter how much he complains to Dell. My offer of $2000 works out great for someone like him that wants to dump it and move on to Sager. -
yea it only works out for you
that machine would sell for alot higher .... -
^^^^^^ i agree
-
How many people will gamble on a defective machine and deal with the headache? I will because I know how to fix these things. I can grab a new SLI'd M17x for $2400 so $2000 for a used defective one is pretty decent. -
Bad driver installs don't mean defective
Find a sli m17x with a qx9300 in it for 2000... -
Kade Storm The Devil's Advocate
Man. That's a damn good deal.
Besides, his machine is having issues. He has warranty. If Dell can't fix the problem or replace the system, they will give him a very decent partial refund, if not a full refund. Now I am guessing, based on the the spec, that this refund won't be anywhere near as low as the $ 2000 mark. -
The cost to me for a qx9300 right now is $250 OEM. I get about 18% off on AW's so I can grab his configuration minus the CPU for about $2400. That's with 2 yrs warranty + CC thrown in. I don't buy through dell.com like most people do. Besides, I'm much less interested in the M17x today than I was a few days ago so I now renew my offer at $1800. -
He doesn't care what you get.
He cares what he paid -
So far all I see is you speaking for him. Are you his mother? My new offer is $1750. -
Nope just the devils advocate
care to try again ? -
Or just a mad cow that doesn't want to see his "precious" devalued?
P.S. My new offer is $1700. -
where can you get a qx9300 $250?
