Now that the M17X has been shipping for awhile, i hope the lack of complaints and negative comments is a sign that Alienware has turned things around. Had my M17X for about a month now and quite satisfied so far.

Huh... from those pics the m17x doesn't look much thicker than the m15x... I thought the m17x was like 3/4 of an inch thicker...?

Basically, the m15x rubber feet are very thick especially at the back, but not at all on the m17x. And in some of those pictures, I had to put something under the m15x to balance it with the border of the table.

he wanted to try them out both. he returned the m17x since it had a defective cpu. he kept his m15x. then his m15x hinge snapped and i think hes going to get the m17x again.

Agreed, I'm also at 3 weeks and still absolutely loving my m17x. Couldn't have chosen a better laptop imo.

Wow, the m17x is so sexy. Looks like a real desktop replacement. Unfortunately, too big for my on the run lifestyle but it looks great. :)
