I am getting extremely bad performance on my M17x in games and benchmarking software for some reason (I'd say its due to drivers).

I have tried practically every driver from the 185s to the 195s all of which give me aweful performance (I can't play borderlands at a decent FPS running at only 1440x900 etc).

Are there any drivers in particular which work well for the M17x? My Clevo laptop with a solo GTX 280m is stomping my M17x in every single game / benchmark I run.

I have windows 7 x64 and I am clean booting and clean installing my drivers.

Thanks, just installed the drivers you have in your sig and enabled the 9400m before installing and everything is running well now.

3Dmark is still down (Dont really care its not a good indication of anything anyway) but all my games are running smoothly now.

186.82 doesn't seem to be the best driver for benching runs. As long as it is fine with your daily needs then so be it. At least thats my take on it. ;)
