    Hmm, I'm sure it's there somewhere... I saw that Moo had it in his review thread.

    It's true, Alien FX does not have the option for White light.... however I know there is software other than Alienfx which can control lighting and themes... The full spectrum

    You can edit the xml file that controls the alienFX to get white lights. I have an m15x and have done just that.

    I tried it with my brothers M17x and the white light looks quite nice on the keyboard but looks a bit odd on the power button/alien head.

    You have to keep in mind that the white is a combination of red, green and blue LEDs so it doesn't look quite right in some places. It might have a slight greenish or pinkish tint - not as even and clear as the normal colors you can choose from. I assume this is why they took it out of the AlienFX program.

    The .ath file will have a bunch of areas (about in the middle of the file) where LEDs are labeled with #FFXXXXXX where those last 6 Xs are RR GG BB in hex. #FFFFFFFF would be white, however it might have a slightly pinkish tint to it so you might want to go with #FFFFDDDD or something.

    This is what they look like:
    HTML:
    <Actions>
        <ZoneID>0</ZoneID>
       <ActionID>0</ActionID>
        <ActionTypeID>15</ActionTypeID>
        <Color1>#FFFFFFFF</Color1>
        <Color2>#FFFFFFFF</Color2>
        <Duration>2</Duration>
    </Actions>
    I'm not sure which are which, but you can choose two different colors to phase between and I assumed duration is how quickly this happens.

    I'm also not sure which zone ID does what but you can mess around with them and see what they correspond to.

    There is software to do this stuff for you but I didn't like it myself, and I don't think it works with the M17x All Powerful.

    I just looked around in my theme file and was able to turn one of the zones white. It looks pretty good, but I think you were right nstallion, it looks a little pink.
