Any idea why sometimes I have to go into Bios and re-enable Hybrid graphics?

I mean, what action on my part could possibly cause the BIOS to change that setting without me consciously going into BIOS and mannually making the change?

    Mandrake,
    Thanks for confirming this .....

I suspected that since I detected a pattern of disrupted AC power causing this but I told myself "No way this could be the case" since the life of a laptop includes many instances of disturbed AC power.

Frankly, I'm disappointed that something as innocent as accidentally pulling a cord could disable a graphics option requiring the owner to have to boot into BIOS to fix it. Aren't these supposed to me "consumer" products.

The whole hybrid setup was confusing to everyone when these systems first came out. They shouldn't have bothered. Just the option to switch between discrete and integrated which is how it's setup with the ATI systems.

Wooh boy, I'm gonna have to figure out a way to simplify this, I guess step one is wait for A03 BIOS and see what that fixes.

Thanks again for taking the time.....
