hi, i have brand new M17x. gorgeous system and screen is quality.

Ive had a few lockups / system freezes when first installing programs, or first starting games.

    I have vista64, 260 x 2 graphics, cards etc....

Is it something i am doing?
    should i adjust something?
im just not sure what to do. its random, doesnt happen often, but when it does, i have to unplug battery to reset system as i dont know how to reset it other ways.

    thanks

    What programs and what games?

Newer systems tend to be buggy with older games. And sometimes backward compatability doesnt happen automaticly.

Depending on which games and which apps, you may need to run in compatibility mode.
