This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    M17x Alien FX themes problem

    Not a big issue really, but if anyone has an answer then great!

    Just landed a M17x (t9600, cf 4870's). Haven't had any real issues at all and have been very pleased with it. I did however notice that I am unable to load FX themes that other people have made. It just gives me "The theme could not be opened." I have no problem loading my own themes and i have the latest command center installed. Just wondering if there's something simple im missing.

    Maybe those themes were made using an older version?
