    M17x Audio Issues - Windows 7

    All of a sudden no audio will come out of the speakers and whenever I try to open Volume Mixer it doesn't respond and neither does the Playback Devices window. I did troubleshoot audio playback devices and it claims there are no problems with the speakers. What is the problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?

    Disable and re-enable your sound device through device manager and restart. See if that makes a difference.
