My BD drive recognizes it has a BD in it, but it won't play it. What software plays Blu Rays? Can I download it from Alienware? (I upgraded to Win 7) and can't play Blu Ray any longer.

    Thanks.

Alienware supply PowerDVD 8 for the job.

That was installed on my Alienware area51 alx desktop.

obviously powerdvd 9 or even 10 would do the same.

nero 7 has blueray but strangely the newer one like nero 9 there is less support so i stay clear

I also beleive the freeware VLO player supports blueray.

The Cyberlink DVD software that came preinstalled should play your BR disk.
