I just got my new UJ-235A off of Ebay, i cant play and movies yet because im modified video drivers (dells need to be updated bad), im running windows 7 and windows is detecting it fine as a BD-RE drive but i tried to use the firmware update off of dell support and it said the target drive is not attached, im guessing the update will need to be modified so we can force it over the firmware on the drive so that it match dell specs from now on.

don't worry i call alienware-dell and they say we cant update the firmware because this is not an oem dell part even if is the same model right now mine is working fine reading blue rays but i don't try to burn one yet the rep. tell me we have to go to panasonic web site and download the latest firmware but since my drive was manufactured on july 09 it comes with new firmware i guess
