I did a search on this and didn't find anything useful. I've been having problems getting my Command Center to open. It started when I used CCleaner to clean my registry values and I just cleaned up everything. When I restored the registry values from the backup, that seemed to fix it. At that point, I changed my lights to be a cycling red/green theme for Christmas. All of a sudden Command Center won't work anymore. I've tried restoring the registry again, and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Command Center, but no luck. When I try to open it, my computer slows down, and then comes up with the following message after about 30s - 1 min.
    Description:
    Stopped working

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: CommandCenter.exe
    Application Version: 2.0.10.0
    Application Timestamp: 4a5e5e95

HELP PLEASE! I don't want to be stuck with Christmas lights forever! Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give.

EDIT: After trying to reinstall again, I get this error for the AlienFX Tester during install:

Even though you ran into this issue after running CCleaner, try uninstalling Command Center, reboot, run ccleaner, reboot, and then reinstall Command Center. This should resolve your issue as you will be starting with a fresh install of the app and any traces of Command Center removed from the registry after uninstall.

I use CCleaner constantly and have not had an issue with CC crashing. Something else may be at work here. Any other installs, tweaks or ??? prior to this issue?

I don't think I've done anything irregular to cause this issue. I just figured since reloading the backed up registry entries from CCleaner, that would have been the cause. When you run CCleaner, do you just clean all the registry entries it recommends or do you pick out specific ones you know may cause issues if removed?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I remove all entries it finds. Never had an issue. Try my suggestion - hoping it works for you. The registry restore may have went funky - always a possibility. Have to ask, you did reboot after restoring the registry - right? Typically, a restart is needed when making changes to the registry.

Hmmm....didn't reboot haha. Noob mistake. Trying your suggestion with a reboot after each step. Thanks for the tip and hopefully it works.

Actually, your restore may work after reboot. If it doesn't, then give it a try. :)

I've done what you suggested and unfortunately I still get the same results. I can't figure out why this won't work!
