Anyone know of any companys that offer skins for alienware laptops? due to the design (Which i love btw) normal laptop skins would not fit. I dont want to hide the Alien head but wanted some sort of skin to give it a more personal look.

those skins arent really good. if you read a review on them, the ones they print for the m15x are pretty bad. the pictures themselves are low resolution so when they print it for the size of the m15x the pictures become pixelated. the size of the sticker also doesnt cover the entire m15x so you will still see some silver sticking out on the size. even the palmrest doesnt get covered completel.y

Year... doesnt sound like its worth the trouble... If i was to use normal stickers... like normal ones you buy to stick on paper or what ever, would it ruin the case? I just want to personalize it, was thinking of buying loads of stickers and placing them all around the laptop. But would never do this if it means it will destroy the case. Also, if i was to do this would it void my warranty at all?

not sure about warranty, it may for the case alone, not for internals, but then i also question the issue of heat dissipation or lack thereof with any kind of application as such be it these or just stickers.

course you can. however, those stickers will not only make your 3000$ AW laptop look like any cheapo's BB laptop he covered up with stickers cuz he's ashamed of it :D, but also leave ugly smudges on the somewhat surface of your lappie. not to mention the glue might run/melt if you place them in bad spots :)

dude that site doesn't even sell fitting skins, just sheets with adhesive on the back that fit either "most 15" laptops" or "most 17" laptops"... i definitely wouldn't order from there... seems kinda shady. plus you'd lose out on the AW head and the skullcap ribs.

Well, I wasnt recommending them. Just pointing out another site. I did say I didnt do any review right? Personally, I wouldn't mod an AW machine anyway. They are nice looking machines as is.

Ive just bought aload of stickers and im going try it on my current HP laptop, see how it looks... but i agree... theres no reason to hide AW laptops, after all, thats the main selling point right? :)

you can just pm Alienware-James or Alienware-Armando and ask if putting stickers will void the warranty. i for one think it wont void the warranty but then again i didnt make the warranty up so i dont really know. the only place i would put stickers is on the lid. and if it is a ripley lid. if it does void the warranty and you want to put them on just remove them if you need warranty service. the palmrest would be the second place but imagine how that hello kitty sticker would feel when you are playing games and your hand is on the sticker. then when you sweat on it imagine how hello kitty would look like then :D
