Just tried to insert a few disks into my M17x, but it wont load so I go into computer > dvd drive (D :) and it just ejects the disk and tells me to insert a disc. anybody eles have this problem? (daemon tools screwing stuff up maybe?)

    Hi RekOnn,
That doesn't sound normal. Perhaps theres a sensor issue in the drive. Does it accept the disc, and keep it, when you're in the system settings (BIOS).

    Thanks,
    Gabe

I will try that, but I dont know why it is not working. It worked before but now when I insert discs it is really noisy and it sounds like it tries to read the discs mutliple times.

It sounds like a drive failure. Is your drive a Hitachi LG or a Sony Optiarc?

    Thanks,
    Gabe
