    M17x DVD-rom & Occasional Startup Issue

    Hey everyone,

    Been having two occasional problems:
    (1) Sometimes when I insert DVD, it doesn't read it properly and when you press the OSD to eject or press eject from My Computer, nothing happens and explorer stops responding.
    (2) Sometimes when I turn on the M17x the screen doesn't come on and force shut down then restart will make it turn on again.

    Any ideas?

    Sorry I've got an update regarding the DVD issue...... after waiting 5~10 minutes the DVD usually responds again and everything's back to normal (except for the drive hardout ejecting over and over again due to me clicking eject a few times during the freeze up)
