SO i have had my m17x for 2 weeks now and i started to notice the fans are making a Pulsing sound. I just wanted to see if anyone was experiencing anything similar. Or if thats how they just run.

    Thanks,

Yeah... mine just spin fairly loud when playing graphically intense games. No "pulsating."

Sounds like something might have gotten caught in one of the fans. I somehow managed to get a small thread of string wrapped around one of my fans in my old Toshiba and it caused a pulsating sound and the fan would not hit full speed.

I've noticed a similar noise in one of my fans. Seems that it only happens when pressure is put on it. I really don't know what's up though.

The grill material is somewhat pliable. When picking up the M17x, be very careful handling it around the intake areas. I had to remove the left GPU to get to the grill and push it back down - it seems I had pushed it in a bit when picking up the laptop and the grill was slightly rubbing against the fan (center piece not the blades).
