Does the M17x R2 have a ir sensor?

If so does anybody have pictures of what the sensor looks like?

Yeah its in the black gloss bar close to the left hand speaker, You can't see it unless you look really closely in very bright light.

If you meant what does it actaully look like as in disassembled its in the service manual below.

P.S - It works with any old media center remote, I use one that i bought for £2.50 off eBay
