I don't know if someone already posted this, I searched and did not find. But you can get the nebula red color for free. If you go to buy the M17x by going through the small business site, the nebula red color is a $0 upgrade. All the other specs looked the same so it seems like its actually free and not them playing with the numbers. I hope this helps those that were on the fence over the $99.

Problem is you can't use any EPP or Home coupons as that will discount way more than the $99 for the red thru small business.

I'm just happy to see AW added the new color as nothing beats having more choices. And that's especially true with boutique items like the M17x.

When I was speaking to my rep on the phone, they were very clear that there ARE no discounts or freebies being offered on the M17x. If I was ordering any other Dell computer, sure, they said, but not the M17x.
I'm just curious as to which coupons you're referring to.... -
EPP is 7% and DPA is 3%, so you can get a total of 10% if ordering thru the EPP section.
Using those will get you much more than by ordering from the Small Business section with the free nebula read option.
There aren't any coupons out ATM but there will be eventually -

The DPA discount is typically applied at checkout. Any rep can help with that.

That's the Dell Preferred Account discount, right? And right now I'm just going through all hell trying to cancel my order...getting the usual 'we can't cancel it now that it's in production', even though I ordered it yesterday.....

Yeah, for whatver reason Dell is telling ppl this. They tried it with me a while back but I finally got it cancelled.
I just cancelled 2 systems the past 10 days and they didn't give me any problems. What gives, Dell?? I don't get it....
Try this form and select the change/camcel order. A pop-up window will tell you to call customer service but just click ok and continue filling out the form. They cancelled it right away no ? asked...... -
i gave him the direct line to my epp rep extension.... she gave me the discoutns for the reorder. and canceled my old order in production.

just call my epp rep directly you have her extension number.
shes like the best epp rep i ever had after going through 9 other dell rep s h i t heads on the phone. my epp rep actually listens to my complains and helped me solve my problem. -

yea pretty much. dell claims they ran out of nebula red for epp people. Personally i think they are bullsh iting me on the phone.

I had everything lined up and Dell blocked my DPA acct. I am REALLY pissed but there is nothing I can do.
I have to wait until I get back from Florida to fill out some form to verify my identity or something. The form is going to my address on my DPA acct back in PA.
They told me my order will sit at Order Processing until payment clears. So I just said the heck with it and cancelled. I'll deal with it when I get back next week.
I am hoping all of this is happening for a reason. You know, maybe some news of the m15x refersh?? Please??

I had that DPA block a couple years back and they would not do anything for me at all . I had to wait till the account closed and then i re applied.

They didn't tell me that. They just said they weren't able to verify over the phone and once I get the verification letter to call them back.

I changed my address was the only thing and next i knew i could not order anything . So i called everyone in dell i could and everyone said there is nothing we can do and wait till the account closes . totally rude people in that department thats for sure.
