    I set FRAPS to record for 5 min.

    I pressed F11 to start the benchmark run right as you wake up on the Lazarus Space station. It should end just before you rescue the doctor.

    I just tested Dirt 2 and the avg was 41, min was 30.

    1920*1200 max settings except post processing (locked at med). No AA, 8x AF.

    Sorry only just seen this, I'll see if I can find an article on it, but basically they signed a big deal with AMD for DX11 contracts for thier gaming series machines, news came up a few months ago, and there was quite a lot of speculation it was part of the reason there was a shortage of HD58 parts in retail at the time, despite the numbers known to be produced (ignoring TSMC issues).

    Lewdvig can you try to run Dirt2 built in benchmark and tell me whats your ave fps? and whats your graphics config as well.

    I'll have a bunch of updates soon comparing 4870s to 280ms in my specific C2D machine. It might not be relevant in an i7 world, but someone might like to look at the charts.
