    I know, it was by request of Mr.Moo that I design over the rubber grip. It may be possible to have a skin stick to that area, but I don't think there's any way of knowing till he tries ;)

    I personally like the rubber area, adds to the design quite nicely while setting it apart from the M17/m17x ripley design in yet another way.

    If you're thinking about doing these with skins or stickers they won't look even a quarter as good as the photoshops. Most skins don't cover the complete surface of the lid and leave an ugly border. The skin jobs like gmask that do wrap around and cover the whole area look better but you're going to lose the aluminum finish.

    Yeah the plain red one is my attempt at emulating the red chassis as seen in the making of quicksilver video. I had originally made a full-on rust colored one due to the confusing lighting in the latter half of the red chassis' sightings. Glad you like the racing stripe one, though! ;)
