    Just a heads up for anyone wondering why MR.Moo want's my paypal e-mail, I don't want there to be any confusion ;) ...

    I would never charge for designs on here, MR.Moo thought it appropriate to tip due to the depth and quantity of designs he requested. Anyone who wants a design custom tailored for them can feel free to request whatever you want, free of charge :) . Tips will never be expected, but are no doubt a great surprise when I get them :D

    Wow awesome!!! definitely my favorite of yours!!! Do A double sided, have the ghost of Obi-wan looking off into the other direction now, Obi-wan in Blue of course...

    Here's the best picture I could find of a profile/ angle view... you'll have to cut it out though and then flip it, then slightly rotate it.... no problem for a pro like you :D

    Oo.. can you raise the Obiwan head up a little bit so it is symetrical to the Vader face... mirrors it... and then maybe, just maybe... we could try to put a filter on it, so it take out some of the realism of the Obi face... set the color to a gray tone and then change the hue to a blue so we get the same feel on with the faces...

    Sorry I don't mean to be pushy but I can just imagine it, I bet you can too... it would be really cool... and I know you can do it!!!

    What do ya'll think about this? I don't have much for photo editing just a free ware program :eek: I brightened it a little to much and the water is the wrong color and i couldn't get it to fade right :(

    Photoshop CS3, I chose the diablo 3 one over the starcraft 2 one because there is a wallpaper with diablo's head underneath the title, hence good place for the alienware head to go.

    P.S It's cyro btw :p

    haha, yeah I guess I botched your name up, sry ;) . My only suggestion with your design would be to grab the transformation tool (ctr+T) and skew the image a little using the left-center handle (holding ctrl & shift while sliding it down will allow you to skew it in a straight line like a rail). It's best to do this all in one shot while positioning the image, so I suggest starting over with the overlay. Let me know how goes it ;)

    BTW, that "rubber grip" looking section is not a grip, nor is it rubber or a raised surface, as it appears to be in the stock photos here. If anyone has aspirations to skin their M17x (Moo ;) ), it can successfully be done over that area if you so choose.

    Well, from what I can find, it's not official. Alienware has their own video site and this youtube channel has fake written all over it. I wrote the user, asking nicely for them to explain their self and even though they've been online since writing that note to them, they've failed to respond. I filed a copyright complaint through youtube and now await action. Thanks for the heads up though.

    I asked basically the same question in the M17x display thread, the answer I got was that it wouldn't be possible without major design changes.

    Short answer, yes. There are plenty of sites out there that will custom make a laminated skin that can be applied to the surface of just about anything (usually they specialize in laptops). Here's a few I've found after a brief search...

    http://www.aspoke.com/

    Don't expect these to come out looking factory made, unless the design is smaller than the lid, like the decepticons design is, then you'll most likely be doing some cutting to get it to match the contours of the M17x. Do your research, I'm sure if you really want to spice things up you could find a way to make it look good ;)
