    Just wanted to know:
    • What is the max STABLE multiplier for the i7 920XM in the M17x R2?
    • Also, will disabling Turbo Mode give me more room to OC?
    • What is the max clock for all four cores with Turbo Mode disabled?

    Thanks in advance!! :D

you're asking the wrong question. because of the extremely complex nature of the fabrication process extreme CPUs will have different limits. some can be overclocked higher than others.

in the bios, you can pretty much max out everything without any problems (5%, increase mw by 150, etc)

in evga eleet utility, I've found that increasing all to 27x seems pretty stable.

Shouldn't the questions be asked in the thread in your sig? ;)

Anyhow, each CPU chip is differant. Even if they are both 920-XM CPU's. That said, every chip has differant OC abilities. It's all trial and error.
